JUDGES COMMENTS
Neil Jefferis—Fancy and Lops— “A busy show hall with a good entry of Fancy and Lops. The Brown Grey Dutch stood out today being very fit and in good coat. Great pity I had to disqualify several youngsters with 2008 rings. Thanks to my stewards Brian, Ida, Fred, Mark, Dave and Alison. All ran very smoothly.”.

C T Punchard—Fur and Rex— “A very good show, well organised cracking venue and a great atmosphere. Stock was of good quality. Thanks to my stewards and Alison on my book and Prim for a good lunch”.

SECRETARY'S NOTES
We had another good show at Woore on 16th March with an entry of 157 show rabbits plus a few pets. This was better than expected as it was a busy show weekend with plenty of options for fanciers. The only disappointment was a number of empty pens due to last minute illness. We hope that Frank Crewe and Debbie Ford are both fully fit again. Thanks to our Judges Neil and Charlie and to Jim Topham for judging the pets. Neil attracted an entry of 29 Dutch, the most we have had for a long time.

We were a bit shorthanded early in the morning so our thanks to those early arrivals who helped complete the staging of the show. Thanks also to Margorie and Bill who completed all the writing and to Pat, June, Rachel and Lynne for helping Prim with the catering.

So many show halls magically empty after BIS judging leaving very few people to clean up, so thanks also to all those who stayed behind to help. I think there were 15 in all which was brilliant. Congratulations to all section winners. Five Star Stud best Fancy abd BIS with a Grey Dutch, Caralie Stud Best Lop, Ida Collings Best Fur, Tamar Stud best Rex and William Cooper winning the Junior COM with a Blue Eyed White Dwarf.

Our next show will be held on Sunday 26th October 2008.

Our Annual Cup Show will be at the same venue on Sunday 26th October 2008 when Liz Massey-Beeston and Daphne Brass will be judging. If a trainee judge would like to judge the Junior COM please let me know in good time.

Regards
Tony and Prim
