JUDGES COMMENTS
Mrs E Massey-Beeston—Fancy and Lops;  A very good entry overall with some very good exhibits on show. Best Fancy went to a very smart Marten Sable Polish adult and Best Lop went to a very smart German Lop Agouti both shown well. A pleasure to judge with Daphne and both deciding on the Polish for Best in Show. Thanks for the invite, to a very good bunch of stewards, to Darren on the book work and to the canteen for a lovely lunch.

Mrs Daphne Brass. Fur and Rex and Junior Com Show; It is always a pleasure to travel with Liz and of course always agree on BIS. The Pole was a cracker. My best, a lovely black rex just lost out on finish. Chris on the book is getting used to my funny ways and we always have a good laugh. We also had plenty of stewards. Thank you I enjoyed the day.
SECRETARY'S NOTES
Our Show on the 26th October, 2008 brought the biggest entry yet since we took over the club in 1999. Every pen we own was needed to stage the show. We intend to purchase more pens and staging before our next show.
Congratulations to all our winners, most specially to Heather Pollard who won Best in Show. Her first ever BIS win with a coloured Polish. She was very disappointed to be at work leaving husband Bill to take the glory. Congratulations to Caralie Stud who won best Dwarf and the Annual Points Trophy and appeared to be going home with most of our trophies.

Other winners were G & L Morris best Lop. Albert Jacklin best Rex and Ron Moore with Best Fur. Callum Peers-Ball followed up best Dutch by winning the Junior Com Show.

Grateful thanks to all our helpers, before, during and after the show. When we realised there were only 3 of us to stage 190 pens starting at 8.00am we phoned for more help. Ron Moore, Mike Parry, Brian Newton and John Evans boosted our numbers. We don’t know how we would have managed without them.

Thanks to Marjorie and Bill for writing all the cards. Rachel, June, Pat and Lynne for helping Prim. Also John Garner, Alan Norbury (and anyone I have missed) as well as the above for helping to put the show away.

Thanks  also to Michael and Lynne Bennett who despite having no rabbits, still worked hard all day.
